One of the UNESCO Natural Sites : the natural arch Pont-d'Arc. The water in the nearby river is perfect for canoeing and kayaking and not very deep.
If you have more time, I suggest you start by the Chauvet Cave (another UNESCO Natural Site) in the morning where you can visit the replica of the actual cave discovered not-so-long-ago (1994). The guided tour is mandatory and very instructive.

There is much to do if you like caves, rivers or wineries - or just getting away from it all. This is really far from a city so plan on some French countryside, river rafting or hiking and you'll be great. The streets are maze-like so be sure to have good maps. The replica of Chavuet Cave is beyond worth it. I was prepared to be underwhelmed because it is a reproduction but it truly is wonderful. Pick up a guide to the area when you are there and find everything you need.

It’s a charming hotel at a very good location at walking distance from the centre of Pont d’arc.
The owners are super friendly and helpful they do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as they can.
They helped us when we ran into some problems during our stay in France and we are very grateful for what they did for us.
When you’re looking for a good place to stay in the most vibrant area of the Ardeche I would recommend the hotel of Grègory and Sophie!
The hotel is in the nature, and super close to the natural bridge that named the closer village, and from the windows you get a nice view on the surrounding area.
It has a restaurant, convenient in case of bad weather.
There is a spa (extra cost) if you would like (I did not try it)
Cheques vacance are accepted for the staying and the meals.
The continental breakfast had a great choice each morning. Very attentive, friendly, couple who run the hotel (a lovely husband and wife!). Set behind a beautiful, huge steel door, a great private garden to have drinks in the evening before setting off for dinner in the local town (less than 5min walk away!). A very pretty hotel!
Our rooms was very classy, far larger than we expected, the shower/bathroom was huge, loads of room everywhere. Breakfast was very good, lovely fresh bread and fruit every morning, nothing bad to say about this hotel, and Marie and her Mum were so lovely. It was very hot and the pool was gorgeous.
A delightful hotel and very helpful and friendly hosts who spoke excellent English
Benefit of air conditioning and fridge in room
Breakfast was plentiful and many choices being self service too.
Definitely recommend
Comfortable modern room which was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is close to the central area for restaurants and shops. We stayed for breakfast, which was very good.
Le Silex is a very special hotel in an extraordinary location. The service was very good and attentive. The accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues though!
The hotel and setting in the vineyard were superb and the hospitality, service and rooms were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
