Vertical Ubaye – Rock Climbing
Half day (3 hours) – 33 € per person. From 4 years old
Based in Saint-Vincent-les-Forts, the steep sided Ubaye Valley is ideal for rock climbing. Vertical Ubaye offer beginner to expert climbing trips for all ages.
Rock climbing is a fun and challenging activity whether it’s just you and your guide, or you’re in a group or with your family. Children as young as 4 can participate and Vertical Ubaye will take you from complete beginner to confident rock monkey!

Vertical Ubaye – Canyoning

Explore the best canyoning descents in the Ubaye Valley with Vertical Ubaye.
Canyoning is a fun and exciting watersports activity where you make your way down a steep river gorge by jumping, abseiling, swimming and sliding. The scenery is spectacular and with the steep sided canyon walls, waterfalls and natural swimming pools, a canyon is an adventure playground on a huge scale. Your instructor will take great pleasure in guiding you down, pointing out the features and making sure you stay safe whilst having lots of fun.
Canyoning trips are split into 2 categories – Discovery and Adventure. Vertical Ubaye will help you choose a descent based on your physical ability, your aspirations, and the conditions on the day, so that you feel satisfied and finish the day with a big smile on your face!

Vertical Ubaye – Via Ferrata
Half day (3 hours) – 50 € per person. From 12 years old
Get your thrills on a challenging yet fun Via Ferrata course in the Ubaye Valley with Vertical Ubaye.
Scaling metal ladders and securely clipped in to a wire, Via Ferrata is a great introduction to rock climbing or a great way to experience the exposure of big wall climbing without the risk.
A via ferrata trip with Vertical Ubaye can be done by anyone over 12 years old in reasonable physical condition and you don’t need any previous experience.
