Cab9 Snowboard Camp
January 23, 2016 - January 30, 2016800 GBP
Sun, Shred and Snowboarding Progression!
Back for it’s seventh year, the Cab9 Snowboarding/Alpine Ethos snowboard camp 2016 promises to be better than ever. Ride with like minded people in the Three Valleys, the biggest ski area in the world. With over 600 km of pistes to blast down and two snow parks in Méribel alone, you can’t help but progress.
Freeride and Freestyle Oriented Snowboard Camp
Taking part in a Cab9 snowboard camp is a great way to improve your riding, make new friends and discover an amazing part of the French Alps.
Cab9 instructors will focus on your on-piste technique then push your limits in the park and off-piste. You’ll hit all types of terrain and freestyle features. Powder, rails, kickers, butters, spins, side hits, carves and more, and you’ll leave Méribel a better rider.
Whether you’re with a group of friends or on your own, you can expect to learn in a relaxed atmosphere with like minded people. The camp is freestyle and freeride focussed, so if there’s powder to be had, you’ll hit some of Méribel’s secret spots, known only to the locals!
During the week you’ll make the most of the Three Valleys terrain and hit the snowparks including the awesome DC-Area 43 where you’ll work on your freestyle skills and learn to nail that 540 grab!
You’ll also work on your general riding technique as the week progresses, and as it’s your camp, if there’s something specific you want to learn, your instructor will be happy help.
Highly Qualified Snowboard Instructors
On the slopes you’ll be in the hands of Jono and the Cab9 Snowboarding team. Cab9 is a small team of dedicated snowboarders, well known in resort for the quality of their instruction and friendly, relaxed approach to their lessons. These guys are highly qualified instructors and skillful riders, and their mission is to help you push your riding to the next level.
Alpine Ethos Catered Chalet Accommodation
Off the slopes you’ll be staying at the Alpine Ethos luxury catered chalet. Run by passionate snowboarders and now with 6 seasons experience Alpine Ethos know what makes a good snowboarding holiday. Good food, plenty of wine and plenty of laughs.
All of this in a reasonably priced package that includes:
- 6 x 3 hour sessions of tailored coaching by Cab9 covering a range of freeride and freestyle riding.

You’ll need to book your own transport from the UK to either Geneva airport or Moutiers train station. From there Cab9 can arrange transfers on your behalf.
You’re not expected to be a pro-rider, but it is assumed that you can already ride as the camps aren’t designed for beginner snowboarders. However, partners or friends are welcome to take advantage of the beginner lessons available through the normal Cab9 programme.
