Ski & Snowboard Guide
Les Menuires ski resort is located in the Belleville Valley of Les Trois Vallées between Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Val Thorens.
Les Menuires’ main attraction is the quality of the skiing. Access to Les 3 Vallées is a big plus, but the variety of the pistes, the modern, efficient lift system and the superb snow record means Les Menuires meets the requirements of even the most demanding skiers.
Les Menuires itself has 81 pistes totalling 160 km of skiing and a sunny west facing mountainside stays sunny right through to the evening. With 12 green runs, 38 blues, 23 reds and 8 blacks, Les Menuires is particularly well suited to intermediate skiers and boarders.
Les Menuires village is at an altitude of 1850 m and has all the advantages of a ski from your door resort. High altitude and snow-sure, with the backup of an extensive network or snow canons, Les Menuires has earned the ‘Snow Guaranteed’ label. That means you can book your holiday safe in the knowledge that there will be some decent snow.
Les Menuires has some superb off-piste skiing as well. And because it’s less renowned for its off-piste than the likes of Courchevel and Val Thorens, the slopes are less frequented and don’t get tracked out nearly so quickly. Don’t miss the run from the Lac du Lou to the Vallée des Encombres.
