Chalet Ribot is a traditional Alpine chalet in the picturesque hamlet of Le Ribot d’Huez. Located part way up the Alpe d’Huez switchbacks, it’s a 10 minute drive from the resort of Alpe d’Huez and only 8 minutes drive from Bourg d’Oisans.
The location offers relaxed and peaceful accommodation just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of the Alpe d’Huez ski resort. The chalet is at an elevation of 1250 meters, surrounded by pine forests and overlooking the valley of Bourg d’Oisans. The views are truly spectacular.
The Food
Chalet Ribot offers bed and breakfast accommodation, but they also serve delicious evening meals 6 nights per week during summer and winter.
All meals are cooked with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and combine hearty Alpine fare with traditional European recipes.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the lounge, where our huge dining table offers the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and discuss your day’s adventures.
Chalet Rates
Rates are ‘per person, per night’, as each of our suites are unique in size & style and can accommodate between two to six people. Chalet Ribot welcomes groups of all sizes.

Chalet Ribot Skiing Holidays
The Pic Blanc cable car in Alpe d’Huez whisks skiers up to 3330 m.
Alpe d’Huez has some of the best and most picturesque high-altitude skiing in the Alps. The resort is popular with families as a result of the great beginner and intermediate skiing easily accessible from the village. Alpe d’Huez also has some epic off-piste terrain and fresh snow can remain untracked for days.
Chalet Ribot is just a 10 minute drive to the ski lifts in Alpe d’Huez. If you don’t have a car, the chalet runs a daily shuttle to and from the pistes.
If you need to hire ski equipment, Chalet Ribot can recommend a ski-in-ski-out rental shop. The shop offers a handy storage service where you can leave all of your equipment overnight.
Chalet Ribot is also only a 30 minute drive from Les 2 Alpes with its superb snowpark, bordercross track and amazing backcountry terrain. Dedicated powder hounds can also visit La Grave for a day of more extreme off-piste skiing with a guide.

Chalet Ribot Road Cycling Holidays

Chalet Ribot in Alpe d’Huez is the perfect base from which to climb some of cycling’s most famous cols. Local climbs include Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Galibier, Col du Glandon, Col de Telegraphe, Col de Lautaret, Les 2 Alpes, Col d’Ornon and of course the legendary Alpe d’Huez.
The chalet has a secure bike shed, workshop with track pumps and bike stands and a bike wash zone. There’s also a large selction of specially made riding maps and guides for all the routes in the area.

The best stay I’ve ever had. You can tell that Letty and Harun love what they do.
